Cotton Pirate was born out of a love for creativity and an unwavering belief in the power of clothing to tell a true story. Printing Process: We use a printing process called DTF (Direct-to-Film). It is a method of transferring our designs onto fabrics using a specialized PET film and a heat press. The process involves printing a high-resolution digital design with water-based inks onto the PET film (polyester film), applying an adhesive powder to the printed design, and then using a heat press to transfer the design from the film to the fabrics. DTF printing creates vibrant, detailed and durable transfers.
